BELLEVUE WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 2015 – – The Learning Disability Association of Washington has released an online directory to help those affected by learning disabilities find resources within the greater Puget Sound region. The directory lists over 800 resources organized into categories ranging from diagnostic testing, consultants, therapists and support groups to optometrists, ADHD resources, physicians and psychiatrists. Resources are available for all ages – children, adolescents, and adults. The Association relies on the generosity of donations and sponsorship to manage this online service.
“We are now making it easier for families and individuals to locate the wealth of resources that the Puget Sound has to offer for those affected with learning disabilities,” said Elizabeth Smith, president of the Learning Disabilities Association of Washington. “We are excited to expand our Association’s role in the community and we thank all our sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. ”
The Learning Disability Association of Washington is part of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. If you provide resources for those affected by learning disabilities and are not yet listed in the directory, or need your information updated, please contact Nancy Sobich at nsobich@ldawa.org.
