The Learning Disabilities Association of Washington believes that every person with learning disabilities can succeed in school, at work, in relationships, and within the community -- when provided the right opportunities.

You will directly support those with learning disabilities or Attention Deficit Disorder by membership in an organization that works effectively to improve the quality of life for those individuals and their families.

Please note:  Learning Disabilities Association of Washington is cutting back on printing and mailing out our quartely newsletter to protect our environment.  The same excellent selection of articles can now be found on our website and will be updated regularly.


Cost of Membership

Membership dues are tax deductible.

General: $35 per year
Any individual with an interest in the vision, mission, and goals of the LDA


Professional: $60.00 per year 
Any individual whose profession (full or partial) is that of advancing the diagnosis, treatment, education, and general welfare of persons with learning and/or attentional disabilities or related problems. Only professional members will be listed on our professional referral listings on our website. You will have an opportunity to be link directly with an email or website for an additional fee.  We are also offering a place on our website for professional to advertise.  At no extra fee we will present a "spotlight" of a selected professional member four times a year. 

 

Student: $20 per year
Any individual in full time attendance at a college or university.

 

Membership Privacy Policy

 

The information LDA collects about a member, conference registrant, book buyer, donor or constituent, is used to process the membership, order, registration, donation or request for information, and to provide you with member benefits. When a person becomes a member of LDA, a form is completed requesting a name, address, telephone number, and email address. The name and address information is used solely to process the membership, donation, order, or request for information and referral. By policy of LDA, this information will never be sold, given, rented, or traded to others for purposes other than providing you member benefit opportunities.
