Neuroscience for Educators
Dr.
Both of these speakers are neuroscientists who are currently working in education. They will provide a brief tour of brain science and sensory-motor processing, including discussions and demonstrations of neural systems, adaptability and learning. Their goal is to provide educators and others interested in neuroscience with basic knowledge and resources to make this area of research accessible and understandable. They will include a discussion of what is currently known and not known of how the brain functions and the potential use and misuse of this information.
