International Dyslexia Association March 20th * Shoreline Center * 7PM 18560 First Avenue, Shoreline Sheridan Room Different Kinds of Brains Dr. Gwen Lewis Have you ever wondered about what makes our children so different? Why do some children have difficulty learning and others learn with minimal effort? Why do some children read early and others struggle to read? What strategies or techniques can you as a teacher or parent use to learn about the differences in your child’s brain? Dr. Lewis, a neuro-psychologist with extensive experience evaluating children both within the public school system as a school psychologist and in her private practice in Edmonds, will focus on different kinds of brains and how to learn about the differences.
