A partnership with the King County Drug Diversion Court (KCDDC) to provide the CHOICES Program – a nationally recognized approach to addressing the root causes of incarceration and to break the cycle of recidivism. Graduates of the program earn a dismissal of their criminal charges and can rebuild their lives, reconnect with families, and re-enter their communities as productive employees, volunteers, parents, mentors, and role models. The program has demonstrated key cost savings to tax payers in the region; a recent report has found that the reductions in crime related to Drug Court translated into a net benefit to taxpayers of $22,000 per participant, or a $4 return for every $1 invested.
